Ong Chantarangkul was born in Bangkok, Thailand on 18th July 1979. After graduating from Rangsit University with a BA in Motion Picture and Video, Ong worked as a trainee in the TVC Art Department of Open Up Production House and made several short films, commercials and theatre productions
on the side. In July 2001 he joined Soho Asia as a telecine assistant where he learned post-
production grading, including Avid Media Composer, Avid DS + Henry.

Ong has just completed his 2 year MA Filmmaking at LFS and is returning to Bangkok to pursue his ambition to direct commercials and feature films.
