His first feature-length film sleep furiously,produced with Margaret Matheson, premieres at 2008 EIFF and involves collaborations with the writer Peter Handke and musician-composer Aphex Twin. Gideon is an award-winning director of film commercials, a faculty member at the University of London and teaches with Professor Theodore Zeldin at l’École des Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC), Paris.
