Rachel Connors

Rachel is co-founder, head of development and a producer at Slingshot, leading development and project selection. Slingshot’s first feature, Sugarhouse, directed by Gary Love and starring Andy
Serkis, Ashley Walters and Steven Mackintosh, will be released in the UK on 24 August. Its second feature, French Film, written by Aschlin Ditta, directed by Jackie Oudney, and starring Hugh
Bonneville, Anne-Marie Duff and Eric Cantona, is currently in post production.

Its third production, Faintheart, will be directed by Vito Rocco and is scheduled to commence filming at the end of September. Prior to joining Slingshot, Rachel worked at Scorpio Films as development producer to Stephen Evans (whose 14 feature films have received 11 Academy Award nominations and 2 wins) and as an assistant agent to Michael Foster at Artists Rights Group (ARG). Before moving into film, Rachel started her career in publishing, where, as project director, she formed part of the launch team of Condé Nast’s UK contract publishing department. She has a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing & Management) from University of New South Wales, Australia.
