Q: How do I register to be a delegate?
A: Online Delegate Registration is now closed. You can still register in person at the EIFF Registration desk in our Delegate Centre at the Traverse Theatre, 10 Cambridge St, Edinburgh EH1 2ED
Q: What is the deadline for Earlybird registration?
A: Earlybird registration runs until 16 May. After this date passes will be available at the standard rate.
Q: What is the deadline for registering online?
A: Online registration closes at noon on 15 June. You may register in person in the EIFF Delegate Centre from Monday 16 June.
Q: What is the Attenders list and when will it be online?
A: The Attenders List is a list of who has registered as a delegate at EIFF. This list will be available in the Delegates area of the website and will be updated on a regular basis.
Q: Can I pay for registration by cheque?
A: We would prefer online or credit card payment. If you are only able to pay by check please contact the Registration team: email@example.com.
You will not be able to pay by cheque or cash at the Registrations Desk from 16 June as we can only accept Credit or Debit cards.
Q: Why does EIFF need a photo of me?
A: In order to create your delegate pass. Please note that you won't be able to access the Festival as a delegate without your pass. If you have any issues uploading your photo you can send it as a .jpg via email to firstname.lastname@example.org
If you register before 16 May, your photo and contact details will also appear in the EIFF Industry & Press Guide.
Q: When and where can I pick up my delegate pass?
On the day you arrive, bring a print-out of your confirmation email or letter to the Registration desk in the Traverse Theatre, 10 Cambridge Street, EH1 2ED. This is just across the road from the Filmhouse. Here you can collect your pass and full delegate information. The Delegate Registration desk will be open from 11:00 on Monday 16 June and from 08:30 on Tuesday 17 June until 16:00. From Wednesday 18 the desks will be open until from 08:30 - 18:00.
Q: Will my pass automatically give me access to the Opening and Closing parties?
A: Unfortunately not. We have a very limited allocation of delegate tickets for these. Available tickets may be applied for and will be allocated on a random selection basis.
Q: How do I get tickets for the Opening/Closing Night films/parties?
A: Please send your ticket request to email@example.com. Your name will be entered on a waiting list and tickets allocated on a random selection basis. You will be informed of whether we have been able to allocate you a ticket at least 24 hours before the event.
Q: When will the Industry Events programme be announced?
A: Industry programming will start to be announced in mid May. Check this site for the latest details. You will be given an Industry Guide in your delegate pack when you pick up your accreditation that contains a full list of events.
Q: Is the EIFF Delegate Centre wheelchair accessible?
A: The venue is fully accessible, for further details please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Q: Will there be any computer or internet provision at the Festival?
A: The EIFF Delegate Centre will have free public Wi-Fi access throughout the building. There will be computers for delegate use free of charge in the Cafe/Bar Area.
Q: Are there any meeting spaces available?
A: There are plenty of quiet seating areas in the Delegate Centre to arrange informal meetings.
Q: Where is a good place to stay during the Festival?
A: We’d recommend staying in the old town near to Filmhouse and the EIFF Delegate Centre. For a list of recommended accommodation, please check the delegates only section of the website and download our handy list.
