Paula van der Oest
Paula van der Oest graduated in 1988 from the Netherlands Film and Television Academy. Her graduation film Zinderend won the Tuschinski Award at the Nederland Film Festival. Her film Zus & Zo, also known as Hotel Paraiso, was nominated for Best Foreign Language film at the Academy Award in 2003. Moonlight (2002) won the Hollywood Discovery Award for Best European Feature at the Hollywood Film Festival in 2003.
