Olivier Assayas
Olivier Assayas was born in 1955 in Paris. He was a member of the Committee of Writers for Cahiers du Cinéma from 1980 to 1985. Between 1979 and 1984, Assayas directed a series of short films; his many features include Irma Vep (1996), Late August, Early September (1998), Demonlover (2002) and Clean (2004).
