Charles Martin Smith came to fame as one of the young stars of George Lucas’ classic film American Graffiti and starred in such acclaimed films as Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid, The Buddy Holly Story and more recently in Lucky You, alongside Eric Bana and Drew Barrymore. Smith made his feature film-directing debut with Trick or Treat and directed the two-hour pilot which launched the television incarnation of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Following that, he directed Air Bud, Roughing It, Icon and The Snow Walker, which was nominated for nine Genie Awards.
