Isidro Ortiz has been fond of the cinema since an early age and studied at the London Film Institute. With the arrival of the new digital technologies in the 1980s he started producing TV headers, sketches and fashion videos. In 1992 he started working in cinema advertising, producing commercials for brands like Coca Cola and Renault. In 1998 he directed Fausto 5.0, which won awards at several international festivals, followed by Somne in 2005. Shiver is his third feature.
