A treat of a film: clever, gorgeously visual and expertly performed.
Oscar®-winner Chris Cooper (an In Person guest of last year's EIFF) is the eye of this deliciously dark emotional storm. He plays businessman Harry, who's desperate to leave nice wife Pat (Patricia Clarkson) for lovely young Kay (Rachel McAdams) - without hurting anyone. Couldn't Pat just... disappear? The noirish intrigue is deftly managed by writer/director Ira Sachs (40 Shades of Blue) and his exceptional cast, also including a fabulously caddish Pierce Brosnan.
