Martin Radich's feature debut is a startling hybrid. What commences as a moving closeup study of one man's life with his elderly father fractures, by degrees, into a shared nightmare. The protagonist shows his nastier side; elsewhere (or within him?), other vulnerable characters experience outrages on varying levels of reality. Weird, wild and bleakly funny think Mike Leigh morphing into Chris Morris.
