Corin Hardy spent his teenage years in thrall to Ray Harryhausen, making animated monster movies and gore-drenched Super 8 flicks with his friends. His epic stop-motion short Butterfly (EIFF 2003) won first prize at the Brussels Animated Film Festival. The success of Butterfly led to Hardy shooting music videos for some of Britain's most successful bands, including Keane, McFly, Guillemots and The Horrors. He now works with Academy Pictures creating music videos and develops his other projects with his own company, Mysterious Cat.
