Documentary / English

A fascinating glimpse into the mind of a musical maverick.

Bill Drummond’s idiosyncratic approach to the music industry has been well documented. Along with long-term collaborator Jimmy Cauty, his aversion to recordings of his work in any form, and his will to destroy them - including the deletion of the lucrative KLF back catalogue, their infamous appearance at the Brit Awards, and a certain bonfire involving a million quid - are the stuff of rock music legend. In this documentary, Drummond provides some exclusive commentary on his work, past and present, whilst working on one of his current passions, his choral project The17.

EIFF is delighted that Bill Drummond will take part in a special performance following the Wed 24 June screening of Imagine Waking Up Tomorrow and All Music Has Disappeared.
