Five More: Shotgun (1966)
In 1965 McGrath produced a series of six filmed dramas for BBC2 called simply Six. The following year he produced five more called, logically, Five More, which followed themes of love and marriage. In Shotgun, set in the Scottish Highlands, wealthy businessman Joshua is morosely shooting duck on the marshes at dawn, when a young girl, Vicky, arrives to confront him over her mother's death.

For Orkney, an episode of Play for Today, McGrath adapts three stories by George MacKay Brown detailing the simple life of the Orcadian islanders in both past and modern times. [12A]
