Kora Karvouni, Maria Skoula, Nikos Diamantis, Anastasios Tzertzemelis, Irene Kolliakou, Christos Stergioglou / Fiction / Greek
September marks endings and beginnings in this delicate film for all moods and seasons.
Young Anna works in a mall restaurant and lives a lonely life along with her dog, Manu. Observing the happy family life of her neighbour Sophia, she longs for the same love and affection. When Manu suddenly falls ill and dies, Anna desperately tries to fill his place in her life with Sophia's family. Kora Karvouni excels in the introspective leading role of this complex, unconventional work that daringly explores the ambivalences of loneliness, love, happiness and independence. [12A]
