Norman McLaren: Now Is the Time
Experience the groundbreaking work of Norman McLaren in a new dimension.
Since its inaugural 1947 edition, EIFF has celebrated the work of pioneering animator Norman McLaren, whose centenary is this year. Now is the time to see McLaren's work afresh in stunning new prints, celebrating films originally screened at past EIFFs and including world-premiere digital restorations of his 1950s stereoscopic films, unseen for over 30 years! Key members of the National Film Board of Canada who carried out these restorations will be in attendance to discuss McLaren's legacy. www.mclaren2014.com [PG]
