‘How far are you willing to go for dance?’
Adam Wong first made short films while studying at University of Iowa. His shorts Fish (1997), Ah Wai & Murphy (1999) and Glowing (2000) all won Hong Kong Independent Short Film and Video Awards. His first feature film When Beckham Met Owen (2004) was the winner of the Independent Spirit Award. He also received a nomination for Best New Director at the Hong Kong Film Awards with his second feature film Magic Boy (2007). In 2009, he took part in the omnibus film The Moon with six other Asian directors, and later made the short Friends in response to the 2011 Japanese Tsunami.
