Stephen Brown is the director of two award-winning short films, Breathing (1992) and The Curious (1995), both of which explore the complexities of troubled human relationships. The Sea, an adaptation of John Banville’s Booker Prize-winning novel, is his first feature film.

    The best recommendation comes from the author of the book and the screenplay, John Banville. He found the film to be an independent work of art. I can't wait to see it.

    Saw on twitter that the famous violinist Hilary Hahn plays solo on the soundtrack. Can't *wait* to see/hear this.
