Baltasar Kormákur

Baltasar Kormákur made his debut in 2000 with 101 Reykavik, and gained attention with his follow-up crime thriller Jar City (2006). Kormákur set up his own company, Blueeyes Productions, in 1999 with Producer Lalja Pálmadóttir. Most recently he has been working on Hollywood titles, including the 2012 action thriller Contraband, based on the his 2008 thriller Reykavik-Rotterdam. He currently has several projects in production, from Hollywood titles such as Everest with Working Title; the crime thriller 2 Guns, based on a graphic novel; and Rocket Man, which he will produce for fellow Icelandic Director Dagur Kari (Noi Albino).

    A great story and loved the use of the home reel shots in the flashback scenes
