Low Definition Control - Malfunctions #0
Surveillance is a form of control – you never know when you’re being watched. Described by its director as science fiction in a literal sense, Michael Palm’s eye-opening experimental documentary is a powerful comment on how social behavior is shaped and controlled by various manifestations of state surveillance. Grainy images of everyday scenes in social spaces are accompanied by the voices of scientists and intellectuals as they reflect on the wide-ranging implications of mechanized perception in all areas of contemporary society.
