In Person: BAFTA in Scotland Interview with Jim Broadbent
Jim Broadbent is one of the most highly regarded and most versatile actors in contemporary film. Among the highlights of his extensive career in theatre, television and film are his BAFTA Best Actor win for the television drama Longford (2006) and his Best Supporting Actor Oscar® win for Iris (2002). Among the many other films in which Mr Broadbent has given memorable performances are Brazil (1985), Life Is Sweet (1990), Bullets over Broadway (1994), Topsy-Turvy (1999), Moulin Rouge! (2001), Gangs of New York (2002), and The Iron Lady (2011). On his visit to EIFF, Mr Broadbent will honour us with a discussion of his work.
