Film Nation: Shorts and BAFTA in Scotland present a free masterclass with Anna Skrein, a highly experienced Art Department Coordinator whose credits include Quantum of Solace, Elizabeth: The Golden Age, The Da Vinci Code, Sahara and Die Another Day. Anna has 11 years experience working in the Production sector of a variety of large budget feature films. Join Anna as she talks about the work of the Art Department Coordinator, how she works with other departments in production, and the skills which might help with a career on set. Anna will take us behind the scenes on the challenges and processes of this key industry role, followed by an audience Q&A.
Run in partnership with Panasonic, Film Nation: Shorts introduces young people to film-making, supports them in developing their talent, and films produced during the project are screened around the UK. Winning films will be screened in front of the crowds in venues during the Olympic and Paralympic Games in London 2012. www.filmnation.org.uk/
