My Brothers
Timmy Creed, Paul Courtney, TJ Griffin, Don Wycherley, Kate Ashfield
Family is everything in this, the directorial debut from the writer of Somers Town (EIFF 2008).
Funny, poignant, and sympathetically scored by Gary Lightbody (Snow Patrol), this will break your heart. Da’s dying slowly and painfully, so how can Noel confess what happened to his cheap but treasured watch? Borrowing a bread van, Noel and his brothers, chubby annoying Paudie and Scwally whose only wee, embark on an ad- hoc road trip to replace it. Because without his watch, how will Da know when it is time to go?
