Documentary / English

A moving portrayal of a world-renowned choreographer, tragically killed just as her wave was cresting.

Known internationally for her work with DV8, Tanja Liedtke had just taken over the Sydney Dance Company when she died: its first new director for over 30 years, and, controversially, she was only 29. This feast for contemporary dance lovers, accesses a huge library of rehearsal and performance video. A heartbreaking what might have been tale, it is also both a fascinating portrayal of an important artist, and rare document of the very kernel of the creative process.
