A classic searing slice of Oliver Stone anti-US conservative forces invective, this characterful, action pic depicts James Woods’s Richard Boyle covering the Salvadorian civil war, and becoming entangled with both the right wing military and left-wing freedom fighters. Including a Q&A with Martin Bell, who was in the field in El Salvador during the exact time period depicted in the film. Martin is in residence for two days at the Festival, hosting other Conflict | reportage screenings and events.
