Frontline Club: Future of War Reporting
Conflict and warfare is something most of us only experience through the filters of the news media; we have little real grasp of its realities.
Three of our foremost photojournalists Danfung Dennis, Teru Kuwayama and Balazs Gardi - between them packing two World Press Photo awards, two Sundance Film Festival awards and one Knight Foundation News Challenge award - demonstrate their innovative use of technology. From the connection between troops on the ground with Facebook in Basetrack, to the immersive filmmaking experiences involved with Condition ONE, the three are developing entirely new paradigms through which to inform society, which will form the future of how we experience news.
