Convento Kinetic Sculptures & Cinema
Giving life to the inanimate, reflecting on nature and behaviour.
This exhibition has now finished
A fantastic exhibition of kinetic sculptures and complementary short films brought to you by Jarred Alterman, director of the stunning documentary ‘Convento’, and Christiaan Zwanikken, the artist whose evocative creations feature in the film. Christiaan’s art utilises computer-controlled mechanisms to make animal skeletons, carcasses and plants move and live again, as hybrids of organic and mechanical matter.
