Animated Mythologies
This collection of international animated films revels in tropes of fairytale, fable and mythology to tell imaginative tales.
Animation is a brilliant medium for encapsulating parables and legends in short form. This programme features a fisherman capturing matter itself, an impatient groom lost in the desert, a world where gravity is a law unto itself, an invention that goes awry, odd natural histories, a malevolent spirit in the woods, and the memory of a vanished settlement.
