Animated Interactions

  • 69 mins

For many filmmakers, animation provides a chance to fulfil the desire to become an actor without having to stand up personally in front of a live audience.

These shorts use performance to narrate stories concerned with the human condition, from navigating interpersonal skills to building a sense of community. This international selection brings the uncontrollable grief of a little girl, the events of one day of the week, school crushes, road rage, family relationships, dysfunctional neighbours and the murderous impulse.
