Animated Extremes
Animation is certainly diverse.
Renowned for being able to tell a good yarn, it is also capable of bringing to the screen a visual smorgasbord, creating rhythm and engaging the audience through experimentation with materials, objects and time. This presentation of short films from around the globe explores some of those less well traversed extremes, with some inspiring animation techniques therein. Mingling amongst this variety of narratives, with a rich tapestry of ideas, are some purely visual spectacles.
