A Kind of Seeing: Memories and Myths
This special live event showcasing celluloid rarities from the Scottish Screen Archive returns to EIFF for a third year.
Trailblazing the resurgent interest in archive film, A Kind of Seeing shines a light (very briefly) into some of the darker corners of the Archive where more than 100 years of Scottish history is preserved. Hand-picked by curator Shona Thomson, Memories and Myths glamourises the taboo that is nostalgia by evoking fond memories and cherishing on-screen myths, followed by a panel discussion.
