Salvage is Lawrence Gough’s debut feature film. He has previously directed various short films, winning awards including Best in the Northwest and Best Drama from Cornerhouse Cinema. These include The Dog, Shelf Life, the improvised film This Time Next Year, The Chemist, Behind Closed Doors, Gatecrash and The Replacement. He has taught filmmaking courses at both Liverpool and Manchester Universities.

    It starts off well but becomes surprisingly cliched and pulls out some stock and unintentionally funny moments. It doesn't hold up well in the second half.

    I watched this film and thought is was very interesting. A great blend of horror and Thriller. Very tense and claustrophobic and brilliant performances from the two leads.
