What happens when your country lets you down? Walter’s existence in virtual retirement is challenged when he visits his second home in New York only to find two unofficial new residents: Tarek, a Syrian man, and his lover, Zainab, from Senegal. Impulsively, Walter invites the refugees to stay, and gradually a friendship forms. But how far is Walter prepared to allow these strangers into his life and how much can he do for them?
