Bernard Rose
?Bernard Rose was born in London in 1960 and is a graduate of the National Film and Television School. In the 1980s Rose directed a string of music videos for artists including UB40 and Frankie Goes to Hollywood. Rose’s feature film debut, Paperhouse (1988), won prizes at the Brussels International Fantasy Festival and the Avoriaz Fantasy Festival. More recently he has directed two Tolstoy adaptations, Anna Karenina (1999) and Ivansxtc (2000). The Kreutzer Sonata is his 12th feature film.
