International Shorts: Childproof
Definitely NOT suitable for kids.
Very young protagonists have become a mainstay of short filmmaking – mundane experiences take on dramatic significance through the eyes of a child. The five films in this programme offer a refreshing and foulmouthed corrective to the cliché, with zombie-slaying kids grown old before their time and introverted loners suffering arrested development. A weird, wonderful and sexually explicit mix.
