Manijeh Hekmat
?Manijeh Hekmat was born in Arak, Iran in 1962. Since 1980, she has worked as assistant director and production designer on 25 feature films. Women’s Prison (2002) was her debut feature film and has been shown in 80 international film festivals, receiving seven prizes. Her documentary credits include NGOs in Iran (2003), I Like My Room (2004), and Women Come Out of the House (2006). 3 Women (2007) is Manijeh Hekmat's second feature film.
