?Gerardo Olivares has been directing documentaries on wildlife, culture and anthropology since 1991. He has produced several TV series, most of them commissioned by TVE, which have taken him across the world, everywhere from Alaska and Tierra del Fuego to Madrid and Singapore. 14 Kilometres is his second feature film, following La Gran Final (The Great Match) in 2006.
