Allan Moyle was born in Qúebec and won some festival fame with such hits as Montreal Main and The Rubber Gun. He later he wrote and directed the hugely successful Pump Up The Volume, before returning to the independent film world to direct New Waterford Girl, which set Canadian box office records. Currently living in Venice, California, he returned to Canada to direct Weirdsville.
