Wes Bentley, Scott Speedman, Taryn Manning, Greg Bryk, Matt Frewer / Fiction / English

Drug-crazed losers run wild, in a relentlessly hilarious, seriously offbeat caper - opening night at this year's Slamdance Film Festival.

Dexter (Scott Speedman) and Royce (Wes Bentley) owe a great deal of money to a very unpleasant drug dealer. Their only chance of salvation is to help him out by quickly offloading a massive amount of his product. But then Royce's girlfriend Matilda (Taryn Manning) gets into the stash - with tragic consequences. Which leaves Royce and Dexter with nothing to sell, and a body to hide. And that's before the Satanist gang shows up. And the vengeful armour-clad dwarves. If this sounds distasteful, make no mistake: it is. It's also possessed of breakneck energy, exquisite comic timing, endless visual invention - and huge helpings of its own messed-up brand of charm. A sequel, please! HM
