André Téchiné
André Téchiné was born 1943 in Valence-d’Anger, France. Originally a critic for the legendary Cahiers du Cinéma, Téchiné made his feature directorial debut in 1969 with Pauline S’En Va, which was shown at the Venice Film Festival. His films include Rendez-Vous which won best production prize at Cannes and Les Roseaux Sauvages, which won the Prix Louis-Delluc and a César for best film.
