Roger Goldby began working in the film and television industry in the mid-90s, initially as a runner and subsequently as an assistant director. He then made the move into directing. His first short film, The Lord’s Prayer, was bought by Channel Four. In 2006 he teamed up with producer Sarah Sulick and formed Bright Pictures. Most recently, he directed Lilies for World Productions and BBC One.
