Klaus Härö
Klaus Härö was born 1971 in Porvoo, Finland. He studied directing and screenwriting in Helsinki. He has directed three feature films (Elina, 2003; Mother of Mine, 2005; and The New Man, 2007), as well as documentaries and short films. His films have won more than 60 prizes and Härö’s first two features were chosen to represent Finland in the Best Foreign Language Film category at the Oscars®.
