Tony Ayres
Born in 1961 in Macau, Tony Ayres’ first feature film, Walking on Water, had its world premiere at the 2002 Berlin International Film Festival, where it won the Teddy Award. Prior to this, Ayres made a number of documentaries, including China Dolls and Sadness. He has also written extensively for television and worked as editor on a number of plays.
