Film critic Andy Dougan, who has written books on Robert De Niro, Robin Williams, Michael Douglas, Martin Scorsese, George Clooney and Richard Attenborough, presents an entertaining discussion of the challenges inherent in getting up close and personal with the world's most protected people. Is it really possible to assess celebrities or their work, when publicists control the flow of information and the print media colludes? Or is the truth irredeemably off-limits in the age of spin? Followed by a panel discussion.
