Programme Your Own Pathway

This year we introduced Pathways. Now it's time to programme your own!

This year, with such a large programme, it can be difficult to pinpoint the films that will really take your fancy.

In previous years we've given you recommendations across the programme strands in the form of posts titled Six of the Fest.

This year, Pathways in the programme and on our website (here) are designed to lead you to films that are often in different strands of the programme but which fall under particular themes.

So far there have been Teenage Kicks, Just for Laughs, and Pushing Boundaries, to name but a few.

In the News section we've had For the Family - and now we want you to create your own.

Is there a particular theme we haven't covered? Perhaps you've seen a selection of films featuring animals, burlesque, scenes of cheese eating, or something completely esoteric.

We want you to create your personal Pathway and share it with the world.

All you have to do is identify a theme, pick up to six films that fit it, and put your list together. You can post this to us on our Facebook wall, share it with us on Twitter @edfilmfest, or by posting it on our web members forum. If you'd like to make it longer you could post it on your blog and share the link with us.

We're looking for your personal Pathway to be creative, concise, and have a snappy title.

We'll feature some of the best ones in a blog post very soon!

So what are you waiting for? Send us your personal Pathway.

Films about people falling down holes: Kid Thing; Los Marziano (and there may even be others I haven't noticed yet...)
