Yet more EIFF premiered films are celebrated elsewhere...

Kazik Radwanski’s short film Princess Margaret Boulevard has just picked up the top prize at the Encounters Short Film Festival in Bristol.

The film, about an Alzheimer’s sufferer, premiered and won Best International Short Film at the 2009 EIFF.

Laurie Hill, this year's winner of the McLaren Award for New British Animation in association with BBC Film Network, picked up the Encounters Best of British award for his animated short Photograph Of Jesus.

Diane first started working at Filmhouse/EIFF in 1986 while studying for her degree in Photography at Edinburgh Napier University. Since then she has held a variety of jobs including Marketing Officer with Filmhouse, Exhibition Curator with Edinburgh College of Art and General Manager of Edinburgh's Cameo Cinema. She has been employed in her current role since 2006.
